Who We Are
High Tech Construction of RI, Inc. has a proud history that dates back over 34 years ago, to the mid-1980s
when its founder, Joe Dalomba became an independent contractor working on behalf of people who were
referred to him because of his work ethics, competitive pricing and the quality of his completed
projects. His reputation as a knowledgeable sub-contractor in the building trades and plumbing
and heating fields quickly propelled him forward. In 1987, High Tech Contruction of RI, Inc. was born.
Throughout the 1990s, the full service general contracting company grew to become one of Rhode Island's
premiere project management and prime construction firms.
1n 1998, the company's owner received the prestigious U.S. Small Business Administration's Rhode Island
Minority Small Business Person of the Year Award "because of his determination and business skills."
As the world entered the 21st Century, High Tech Construction of RI, Inc. grew by leaps and bounds
in the sheer number of projects, the size of the projects; the number of employees, equipment inventory
and the ever-increasing financial backing from one of the world's largest financial institutions.
